Verifying Assets (Emblem Open )

Las updated March 2024

Verifying the authenticity of your assets is paramount to maintaining their integrity and value. To ensure the authenticity of your Emblem Vault assets, follow these key steps:

  1. Confirm the asset's smart contract address on Etherscan and compare it with the listing on the OpenSea storefront.

  2. On OpenSea, verify the collection's badge status by ensuring it is marked as a "Badged Collection" with a blue checkmark and identified as a "Mintable Collection" with a yellow exclamation point.

  3. Review the Total Volume of ETH traded within the collection, which should exceed 45,000+ ETH to indicate its widespread acceptance and liquidity.

  4. Examine the number of unique owners within the collection, looking for a figure above 12,000+ to assess the collection's popularity and distribution.

  5. In the properties tab, where the asset's metadata is showcased, confirm the status is listed as "Unclaimed", indicating the vault remains unopened and the asset intact.

Additional steps include:

  1. Utilize the "View this NFT on Emblem.Finance" link to cross-reference the asset on the appropriate blockchain explorer, ensuring its presence on the correct blockchain as listed in the properties tab.

  2. For assets within the vault, double-check that the public address of the vault's native blockchain corresponds with the address found through the blockchain explorer link in the asset's description. For instance, a Rare Pepe's BTC public address inside the vault should align with the address accessed via the "XCP Explorer" link in its OpenSea description.

For comprehensive guidance, Emblem Vault provides detailed instructions and video tutorials on asset verification. Visit our website for further information and support in verifying your Emblem Vault assets.
