What are Cursed Ordinals?

Cursed Ordinals are a set of "unindexed" or sometimes considered "bugged" Bitcoin ordinals that have been assigned negative numbers, to be "healed" or "updated" at a later date. This variety of Cursed Ordinals can also be considered "bound" or "unbound", which means that the ordinals have issues interacting with the Ord Client and may not display ownership in the correct wallet address.

At the time of this post, there are over 50,000 Cursed Ordinals that have been updated officially via the Ord Client 0.6 update. Emblem has developed its own indexer and API service that is up to date with the Ord Core updates.

Emblem Vault Curated Collection vaults are also dynamic, meaning that the vault's metadata (image, title, and description) will automatically update at the time of minting.
